I am a multidisciplinary artist and craftsman focused on textile art, ceramics and woodworking. With my quilts, I look to motifs that have been around for centuries, adapting them to my own aesthetic. Hand quilting the way my great-grandmother once did and using the woodworking knowledge passed down from my father and grandfather, I create unique pieces meant to last a lifetime—if not generations.

I believe the tools and objects we use every day should be as beautiful as they are functional. I make functional keepsakes—objects that are meant to be used, lived with, and loved. For me, good design highlights the natural character and beauty of the materials, whether that’s wood, clay, or fabric.

Each piece is made by hand, start to finish, in my home studio. I use native Oregon-grown hardwoods and finish each piece with natural oils and waxes.

I enjoy what I do, and I hope you do too.
